Obituary

Larry Thomas King, 67, of Franklin, TX fought the good fight and bravely went to be with his Lord on the morning of October 13, 2015.

Larry was a beloved father, friend, brother and son. Although disabled part of his life (due to 22 years of professional bull riding), Larry was still very active and creative. He would build BBQ pits, barns, sheds and even the porch to his home.
He was an avid cowboy, fisherman, rancher and hunter. He enjoyed taking camping/hunting trips with his daughter, Jennifer. He loved to talk about his rodeo days and would tell anyone who would listen.
He was married to Jean for 28 years, and in that time they had one daughter (Jennifer). Larry had 2 daughters from prior marriage and they "adopted" a 4th daughter, Meagan Guerra.

He is survived by his loving children: Jennifer King (and Ray Hutcherson), of Austin, TX; Amber Downey of Dallas, TX; Cindy Garrison of Louisiana; (Adopted) Meagan Guerra of Bryan, TX. He is also survived by his brother Ed King; mother Velma Allen; Nephews Shane "Rope" King and Bo King, Niece Kathy Lee King, Granddaughter Ashley Garrison and Great Grandson.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Tom Means; Stepfather Dick Allen, Niece Toby King.

Visitation will be held at 10:00 to 12:00 on Friday morning, October 16, 2015 at the McCauley Funeral Home in Franklin, TX the funeral to follow at 2 P.M. also at McCauley Funeral Home. Flowers may be ordered from Country Flowers in Franklin, TX.
