Larry William "Billy" Cleere went to his heavenly and eternal home on Saturday, May 6, 2023 surrounded by his loving family after battling cancer for several years. He was born on December 21, 1979 in Longview, Texas to his parents, Larry Paul and Virginia Kay Green Cleere.

Billy married the love of his life, Lacy Cooper on May 5, 2000 and to this union two children were born, William Blade and Kaylee Jade. Billy was self-employed and owned and operated Black Diamond Paving and Seal Coat Co. He was a life-long resident of the Brazos Valley and of the Christian faith.

Billy was a family man. He was not only a wonderful and supportive husband and father, but a caring son and brother as well. His presence will be missed so much by his family but his loving memory will remain in their hearts forever.

Billy leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife of twenty-three years, Lacy Cleere of Gause; his children, William Blade Cleere and Kaylee Jade Cleere both of Gause; his parents, Larry and Virginia Cleere of Hallettsville; his brother, Levy Glenn Cleere and wife Kerri of Franklin. He is also survived by numerous other relatives.

Services will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at the Pridgeon Community Center in Franklin, Texas. Burial will follow in the Gause Cemetery in Gause, Texas. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 from 10:00 A.M. until 8:00 P.M. and on Thursday, May 11, 2023 from 10:00 A.M. until service time at the community center.
