Obituary

Kay Frasier was born on September 6, 1934 to her parents, John and Verde Mae Merryman Holidy in Franklin, Texas.  She passed away on Sunday, December 20, 2020 in Baytown, Texas at the age of 86 years.

Kay attended Reagan High School in the Heights. She owned and operated two beauty shops before attending the University of Houston and receiving a degree in accounting. She was a resident of Houston most of her life.  She was of the Methodist faith.

Kay's family was the most important part of her life.  She took care of her children's needs making sure they never wanted for anything.  But not only did she take care of their needs, she instilled quality values that lasted a lifetime for her children and grandchildren.  She also loved to cook for her family.  Kay was a twin to her sister, Fay.  They both are described as two beautiful souls.  They were not only twin sisters and best friends they also became roommates for over forty years before Kay had to leave due to illness.   They loved playing the lottery and watching sports together. Kay and Fay were two of a kind characters that will be deeply missed by all the lives that they touched.

Kay was preceded in death by her parents, John and Verda Mae Holidy; her twin sister, Fay Crane; and her son, Jeff Frasier.

She is survived by her son, Kenneth Frasier; her brother and sister-in-law, Ray and Daphney Holidy; grandchildren, Kendall Walmsley and husband Chance and Kaylee Cost; Nephews, Greg and Marcus; Nieces, Jennifer, Karen, Debbie, Susan, Cyndi, Priscilla and Heather.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at the Camp Creek Cemetery.  A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 12:00PM until 1:30PM at McCauley Funeral Home.
