Kathy Lynn Pruitt, 62, of Beck Prairie in Robertson County, Texas passed away on Monday July 22, 2019 in Houston, Texas.  She was born on March 6, 1957 in Waco, Texas to Charles Young Springer and Clarissa Eugenia Mullins Springer.

Kathy was a graduate of Bremond High School and married Joe Pruitt on March 26, 1983.  She was a lifetime resident of Robertson County.  Before her retirement, Kathy was employed in home health as a personal care attendant.  She was a member of the Southside Baptist Church in Franklin.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents and father-in-law, E.K. "Bud" Pruitt.

Kathy was very active in her church and loved singing in the choir.  She would read her Bible daily to her husband. She loved her nieces and nephews and in her spare time, she loved to pick dewberries, gardening, crocheting and crossword puzzles.

She is survived by her Husband  of 36 years – Joe Pruitt of Beck Prairie; 2 Sisters, Cynthia Luster and Janice Marie Alford both of Bremond; 1 brother, Terry Carl Spring of Bremond; Mother-in-law, Faye Pruitt of Bryan; Brother-in-law,Terry Pruitt and wife Kelly of College Station; 2 Nieces, 5 Nephews and a Host of Great Nieces and Nephews

Services will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at 10:00 AM at McCauley Funeral Home Chapel in Franklin.  Burial will follow in the Nesbitt Cemetery in Robertson County.  A visitation will be held on Friday, July 26, 2019 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home.
