Sybil Juanita Sanders, 84, of New Baden, Texas passed away on Monday, March 14, 2011 in Bryan, Texas. She was born on November 24, 1926 in the Henry Prairie Community of Robertson County to Thomas Carol Vann and Clidie Merchant Vann. She was a graduate of Calvert High School and married Leslie "Jack" Sanders on January 24, 1946. She was lifetime resident of Robertson County and a member of the First Baptist Church New Baden, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, grandson, Thomas Leslie Sanders, daughter, Jackie Lynn Hodges, Brother, Carl Vann, and sisters, Louise Starkey and Jimmie Norene Keith.

She is survived by:
Daughter and Son-in-law - Wanda and Joe Fannin of New Baden

Son - Clyde Dale Sanders of New Baden

Son-in-law - Carl R. Hodges of New Baden

7 Grandchildren - Jody Tucker, Jason Noble, Jeremy Fannin, Clayton Fannin, Mark Fannin, Chris Sanders and Kimberly Baker

Services will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at the First Baptist Church New Baden, Texas. Rev. Freddy Burden will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Henry Prairie Cemetery in Robertson County.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at McCauley Funeral Home in Franklin.
