Joy Marie Lindan went to her Heavenly home on Sunday, November 13, 2022 at the age of 60 years.  She was born in California on July 17, 1962.

Joy received her education in Franklin and married the love of her life, Jerry Mike Lindan on December 29, 1979.  She was employed with Kroger as a talented florist.  She was of the Christian faith and made her home in Franklin for the past 40 years.

Joy had a quiet and genuine character.  Her love for flowers led her to a job she enjoyed in for floral design.  Joy also loved all animals but especially horses. She loved her family and her grandchildren and they quickly became her pride and joy.  Her absence in this world will most definitely leave a void in the lives that she was a part of  but she will continue to live in the hearts of the many she touched while here on earth.

Joy was preceded in death by her parents, Louise Roberts Cotton and Robert Allen Cotton and her brother, Joseph Cotton.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Jerry Mike Lindan of Franklin; her daughter and son-in-law, Nikki and Zach Carpenter of Franklin; her son, Brandon Lindan; her grandchildren, Hunter and Silver Carpenter; her step-mother, Audrey Cotten;  sisters and brothers-in-laws, Beatrice and Larry Ball and Joannet and Marty Jones; brothers and sisters-in-law: William "Sam" and Janice Walls, John and Mary Walls and Ernest "Rich" and Suzy Walls; brothers-in-laws and sisters-in-law: Gary Lindan, Larry Lindan, Barry and Liz Lindan, Terry Don and Connie Lindan, Teddy Lindan and Cheri Heatly.  She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. at McCauley Funeral Home Chapel in Franklin, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of choice.
