Johnnie Mae Winstead, 83, of Franklin, Texas passed away on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 in Franklin. She was born on June 16, 1928 in Marquez, Texas to Jim and Bobbie Stokely Noey. She attended Marquez High School and married Fred Winstead, Jr. on October 29, 1946 in Ridge, Texas. She was a homemaker and had been a resident of Franklin for 50 years previously living in Marquez. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sons; Tex and Peanut, brother; Raymond, and sister; Lethea

She is survived by:

Daughter – Sandra Morgan of College Station

Son and Daughter-in-law – Jimmy and Barbara Winstead of Bremond

Sisters – Wanda Liner of Franklin and Mavis Gustavus of Normangee

Brothers – Billy Noey of Kurten and Lytle Noey of Normangee

7 Grandchildren, 19 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great Great Grandchildren. Graveside Services will held on Friday, March 9, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the Henry Prairie Cemetery. Rodney Box officiated. Viewing will be from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm Thursday, March 8th, 2012 with the family present from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at McCauley Funeral Home in Franklin.
