Obituary

Jo Ann Beddingfield Robinson was born on  December 9, 1934 in Jewett, Texas to Alva and Zetha Rowan Beddingfield.  She entered eternal life on Monday, January 3, 2022 at her home at the age of 87 years.

Jo graduated from Jewett High School in 1953 and married her high school sweetheart, Harold Robinson.  He was employed as a welder and pipe fitter but soon decided he wanted to be a Game Warden.  They then were transferred and made their home in Franklin.  Jo was employed with the Franklin Post Office for many years before her retirement. Jo was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Franklin before her illness kept her at home.

After retiring, Jo enjoyed working in her yard and getting on her John Deere lawn mower and mowing her large yard.  She was a big canasta player and always enjoyed getting together with her friends to play.  She spent most Friday evenings with her two Barbara friends going to New Baden to eat fish.  Jo was a special lady that loved God, her family and her friends.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
