Jo Ella Parker was born on November 27, 1928 in Midland, Texas to parents, Nathan and Virgie lee Wyatt Snider.  She passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 in Bryan, Texas at the age of 94 years.

Jo was a graduate of Franklin High School and following graduation she attended business school.  She married her husband, Sidney Parker on December 19, 1953 in Franklin, Texas, and to this union one child was born, Robert Parker.  She was employed briefly with Texas A&M University as a secretary before devoting her life to her family and took on the role as full time homemaker. Jo made her home in Bryan for the past 30 years and was of the Episcopalian faith.

Jo was a Christian woman and strong in her faith.  She was also a great mother and wonderful wife and loved her family dearly.  Jo had a passion for art and enjoyed painting.  She was adored by many and will be missed for her genuine kindness and beautiful smile.

Jo is survived by her son, Robert Parker; cousin, Blanch Collie and a host of dear friends and other relatives.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery near Franklin.
