Jimmy Louis Davis was born on January 25, 1958 in Monticello, Arkansas to parents, Robert William and Lexie Mayo Davis. He passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 in Bryan, Texas at the age of 63 years.
Jimmy married his wife, Barbara Moore on July 6, 1984 in Pasadena, Texas. He was retired from Texas A&M University. Jimmy served his country in the United States Navy. He was a resident of Camp Creek Lake in Robertson County for the past thirty-one years previously living in Pasadena, Texas. He was of the Baptist faith.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, step-father and many aunts and uncles.
He is survived by his loving wife of thirty-seven years, Barbara Davis of Camp Creek Lake; his two daughters, Lexie Redding and husband Jimmy of George West, Texas and Crystal Davis of Franklin; sisters, Faye Vance of Monticello, Arkansas, Robbie Donaldson of Liberty Hill, Texas and Regina Dalsis also of Liberty Hill; brother, Robert "Bob" Davis of Hamburg, Arkansas; four grandchildren: Skylar, Carli, Colt and Kyrie; one great grandchild, Ensley
Services will be held on Monday, September 6, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at the First Baptist Church, Franklin, Texas. A visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M. until service time at the church.
