Jewel Adele Barnard Taylor, 99 of Franklin, Texas passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 in Franklin, Texas. She was born on July 5, 1916 in Reydon, Oklahoma to Samuel and Bertha Bernard. She married Rev. L.L. "Lee" Taylor in December 19, 1934 in Sayre, Oklahoma. Jewel was a pastors wife and a homemaker. She had been a resident of Franklin for the past 46 years. She was a member of the Franklin Worship Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, 3 brothers and 6 sisters.

She is survived by:

Jack Taylor and wife Mary of Franklin,
Randy Taylor and wife Dianne of Belton and
Glenda Umphres of Pflugerville

11 Grandchildren – Debbie, Taylor, Mark Taylor, Dana Taylor, Dewain Taylor, Brian Taylor, Michelle Taylor, Laura Taylor, Grant Taylor, Tina Umphres, Redonna Umphres and Leah Umphres

Services will be held on Friday, May 6, 2016 at 10:30 A.M. at the Franklin Worship Center. Rev. Rodney Box will officiate. Burial will follow in the Franklin Cemetery.
