Obituary

Jerry Dale Morgan, Jr. was born to his parents, Jerry Dale Morgan, Sr. and Betty Sue Wingard Morgan on December 10, 1969 in Bryan, Texas. He entered into eternal life on Sunday, July 19, 2020 at the age of 50 years.

Jerry, better known as "J.J." to all that knew him well, was a life-long resident of Franklin.  He was a 1988 graduate of Franklin High School. J.J. married the love of his life, Sarah True on February 3, 1996 in Franklin, Texas. To this union, two beautiful children were born, Leanna, the apple of his eye and Seth, his pride and joy. J.J. took great pride in providing for his family.  He was always willing to work hard to provide them everything they needed and for the past 30 years he was employed with Navasota Valley Electric Co-op.  He not only devoted his life to his family but to the entire community working as a lineman, always restoring electricity when needed.

J.J. was a one of kind person. He not only was the life of the party wherever he went but he will also be remembered for his giving spirit.   He was a person that created acts of kindness. J.J. had a love for shopping and would shop for anything that he could buy to resale or restore. He also loved to fish, ride golf carts, cook for his family, camping, being on the lake and spending time in his two favorite places, Sargent, Texas and New Mexico. What J.J. loved the most was to spend time with his family and his new grandbaby, Jaxton.

He was preceded in death by his precious mother, Betty Sue Morgan.

He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Sarah Morgan; Children, LeAnna Morgan and Seth Morgan; Father, Jerry Dale Morgan, Sr.; Sisters, Sherry Morgan Smith, K.K.
