James Vernon Sanders, 74, of Franklin, Texas passed away on Sunday, February 24, 2013 in Temple, Texas. He was born on January 24, 1939 in Robertson County, Texas to Ernest Aron and Maudie Liner Sanders. James was a 1957 graduate of Franklin High School. He retired in 2012, after many years of service to Franklin as an independent insurance agent. He married Viki Jo Martin on April 7, 1995. James was a life-long resident of Franklin, a member of the Robertson County Cowboy Church and the Patrick Masonic Lodge #359, Franklin, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents and Brother, Aron Sanders.

Brother – Jimmy Sanders and wife Karen of Gause

Services will be held on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at 2;00 P.M. at the Robertson County Cowboy Church. Rev. Jimmy Sanders and Rev. Freddy Burden will officiate. Burial will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 6-8 P.M. at McCauley Funeral Home.
