Inez Alma Elizabeth Ainsworth, 93, of New Baden, Texas passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at her home in New Baden.  She was born on October 14, 1924 in New Baden, Texas to Vodie and Nona Sweat.  She was a 1940 graduate of Franklin High School.  Inez married William Ainsworth on December 8, 1941.  She was a self-employed farmer and rancher and was a lifetime resident of  New Baden.  Inez was a member of the First Baptist Church.  She was  preceded in death by her parents, Vodie and Nona Sweat; husband, William Ainsworth;  3 sons, Larry Ainsworth, Michael Ainsworth and David Ainsworth; Siblings, Vernon Sweat, A.D. Sweat, Fermon Sweat, Irene Johnson and Vera Menn.

Services will be held on Friday, February 16, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at the McCauley Funeral Home Chapel in Franklin.  Burial will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.  A visitation will be held Friday at the funeral home from 1:00 P.M. until service time.
