Harry Ray Maxwell, 89, of Franklin, TX passed away August 17, 2011 at Bald Prairie, TX. He was born September 10, 1921 to William Jesse and Willie Mary Wood Maxwell in Boone Prairie, Tx. He graduated from Franklin High School in 1939. He worked for the Federal Aviation Administration as a supervisor for 38 years and has been retired for 25 yrs. He married Cora Sue Dodd on June 20, 1961 in Florence, Alabama. Harry was a veteran and served in World War II. He served in Los Negros Island-South Pacific as aircraft repair and maintence man. He has lived in the Bald Prairie community for the past 25 yrs previously living in Memphis, TN. He was a member of the Franklin Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, brother; Fred Wood Maxwell, and sister; Johnnie B. Gilliam.

Funeral services are set for 1:00 pm Saturday, August 20, 2011 at Franklin Church of Christ with Al Jolly and Ray Davis officiating. Burial will be at the West Boone Cemetery near Franklin. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm -8:00 pm Friday, August 19, 2011 at McCauley Funeral Home.
