Glynda Kay McBeth, daughter of Cecil and Willie Compton McBeth was born on March 9, 1945 in Gorman, Texas. She passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, May 8, 2020 at the age of 75.
Glynda was a 1963 graduate of Calvert High School. She had made her home in Franklin for the past 37 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Franklin.
Glynda was one of a kind and always put others before herself. She loved laughing and being with family and friends. Glynda loved being a twin and she liked to make it known by telling people. She was a very giving person who loved her nieces and nephews like they were her own children.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Willie McBeth and sister, Mona Hipp
She is survived by her twin sister, Lynda Fulton and husband Ernie of Franklin; sister, Cecilia Hoover of Round Rock; brother, Will McBeth and wife Linda of Midlothian and special friend, Gary Williams. She is also survived by a host of dear nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. at the First Baptist Church in Franklin. Burial will follow in the Henry Prairie Cemetery near Franklin.
