Fred Willam Hanhart, Jr. 80, of Franklin, Texas passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 in Bryan, Texas. He was born on June 10, 1934 in New Baden, Texas to Fred William Hanhart, Sr. and Elsie Sauer Hanhart. He attended school in Franklin and married Deanna Wooldridge on September 18, 1956. He served in the United States Navy and was employed with Texas A&M as a machinist before his retirement. He was a member and served as Deacon of the First Baptist Church, New Baden, Texas. He was preceded in death by his Mother and Father, Brother; Paul Albert "Doc" Hanhart and son; Fred Hanhart.

Services will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. at the First Baptist Church, New Baden, Texas. Rev. Freddy Burden will officiate. Burial will follow in the New Baden Cemetery with Military Honors.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1, 2014 from 6-8 P.M. at McCauley Funeral Home in Franklin.
