Frances L. Schlaepfer, 79, of Franklin, Texas passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 in Bryan, Texas. She was born on October 8, 1931 in Greenville, Texas. She was a homemaker and had been a resident of Franklin for the past year in a half previously living in Alvin, Texas. She was of the Christian faith.

She is survived by:
Daughter and Son-in-law – Barbara and Robin Smith of Franklin
Son and Daughter-in-law – Guy and Sharon Laughlin of Angleton
Sisters – Lee Ratliff, Opal Franklin and Juanita Mears
Brother – Buddy Newby

6 Grandchildren - Nick Smith and wife Danielle, Ashleigh Smith, Kristina Cooper and husband Justin, Brandon Laughlin, Jacob Laughlin, Stephanie Hutson and husband Daniel

5 Great Grandchildren – Ely Cooper, Weston Smith, Mason Smith, Devlin Hutson and Bailey Cooper

Graveside Services will be held on Friday, October 7, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 6, 2011 from 6-8PM at McCauley Funeral Home in Franklin.
