Obituary

Fay Holidy Crain was born on September 6, 1934 in Franklin, Texas.  She was the daughter of John Henry and Verda Mae Merryman  Holidy.  Fay passed away peacefully into eternal life on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at the age of 85 years.

Fay was a graduate of Reagan High School.  She was employed at AT&T as an operator/clerk for  32 years before her retirement in 1996.  She was a resident of Spring Branch for 57 years.  She was of the Methodist faith.  Fay was preceded in death by her parents, John and Verda Mae Holidy and nephew, Jeff Frasier.

She is survived by:

Daughters –Jennifer Russell of Houston, Karen Dziedzic and husband Richard of Magnolia, Debbie Purdy and husband Don Knaak of Houston, Susan Spence and husband David of Spring and Cynthia Beissner and husband  Paul of Waller

Twin Sister – Kay Fraiser of Baytown

Brother – Ray Holidy and wife Daphney of Henderson

13 Grandchildren:  Jason Russell, Evie Martinez and partner Sam McKeithan, Melissa Dziedzic, Thomas Dziedzic, Michelle Purdy, Frank Purdy, Eric Spence and wife Jessica, Curtis Spence and wife Ashley, Blake Spence, Aubrie Beissner, Maverick Beissner, Cale Beissner and Cheyenne Beissner

2 Great Grandchildren

Nephews: Kenneth Frasier, Greg Holidy, Marcus Holidy, Priscilla Martinez and Heather Versic

A Graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at the Camp Creek Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Saturday from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at McCauley Funeral Home in Franklin.
