Eugene Joe Fajkus, 83, of New Baden, Texas passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at his residence. He was born on July 29, 1930 in Praha, Texas to Jim and Annie Fajkus. He married Lorine Psencik on June 1, 1954. Mr. Fajkus was inspector before his retirement. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He had been a resident of New Baden for the past 25 years previously living in Houston, Texas. He attended the St. Francis Catholic Church in Franklin. He was preceded in death by his 2 Sisters: Sybil Tupa and Mary Ann Luna, 2 brothers: Edward Fajkus and Ivan Fajkus, Daughter-in-law: Becky Nichols Fajkus.
He is survived by:
Wife – Lorine Fajkus, Sons and Daughters-in-law – Michael Fajkus, Anthony and Dianna Fajkus, Brian and Tawni Fajkus, Brother and sister-in-law – Ben J. and Alice Fajkus
6 Granchildren – Anthony Fajkus, Jr., Kimberly Fajkus, Weston Fajkus, Kyle Fajkus, Lyndsi Fajkus and Heather Brockus

A Visitation will be held on Friday, November 15, 2013 from 5-7 P.M. with a Rosary at 7:00 P.M. Services will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at 1:30 P.M. at the Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Hostyn, Texas. Burial will follow in the Hostyn Cemetery.
