Emily Sue Brunette was born on October 10, 1931 in Arcadia, Missouri to parents, George and Golda Bay Knight.  She went to her Heavenly home on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at the age of 91 years.

Sue, as she was known, was a Christian that loved her Lord and was strong in her faith.  She was musically talented and enjoyed playing the piano at her church, First Baptist Church New Baden, Texas for many years.  She loved reading and putting puzzles together in her spare time. Sue was a homemaker and always made sure that her yard and house was kept tidy.  She will be missed but her memory will always be cherished by her family, church family and all the lives she touched.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents, George and Golda Knight and her husband, Charles Brunette.

She is survived by her children, Kristy Lynn Johnston of Magnolia and David Brunette of Franklin.  She is also survived by her 4 sisters: Joyce Sutton of Ellington, Missouri, Bonnie Moe of Springfield, Illinois, Mary Lou Hawkins of Omaha, Nebraska and Patricia Kelley of Lompoc, California.

Services will be held on Monday, April 10, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. at the First Baptist Church, New Baden, Texas.
