Elsie Stich was born on January 17, 1915 in Georgetown, Texas to Ernst and Louise Buscha Miersch. She passed away on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at the age of 103 years.
Elsie attended the Zion Luthern Church in Walburg, Texas in her younger years.
She moved to Houston from Dallas in the 1930's and worked as a legal secretary. It was in Houston that she met and married Wesley Keller Stich in 1939. Their son, David Allen Stich was born in 1941. In 1946 they bought a farm and moved to Franklin. Their second son, Wil Stich was born in 1953. Because of the 7year drought, they moved back to Houston in 1956. During her time in Houston she was very active in various outreach charitable organizations.
They retired in 1974 and moved back to Franklin where she has lived since then. Elsie was a member of the Henry Prairie Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley and son, David.

Wil Stich, Tanya Davis, Shirley Buser, Michelle Davis, Ricky Davis, Justin Davis and Jordan Davis

Service will be held on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at 12:00 P.M. at the McCauley Funeral Home Chapel in Franklin. Louie Walston will officiate.
