Eloy Villarreal, Sr. was born on September 18, 1963, in Edroy, Texas to parents, Rodolfo and Lydia Silvas Villarreal.  He was born into eternal life on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

Eloy was self-employed and was a life-long resident of Franklin, Texas.  He was of the Baptist faith.  Eloy was somewhat of a comedian, always teasing anyone he got a chance to.  His family was of the upmost importance to him, and he enjoyed spending as much time as he could with them and his grandchildren.  He loved music and loved beer and could be found cheering his favorite team, the San Francisco 49er's on whenever they were playing.  Eloy was also loved so much by his family, and they will miss his presence in their lives, but he will remain in their heart forever through all the precious memories that were made together.

Eloy is preceded in death by his father, Rodolfo Villarreal and his brother, Harvey Villarreal.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his mother, Lydia Villarreal of Franklin, his children, Angie Johnson and husband Travaris, Becky Alvarado and husband Edward, Christian Kemp and Eloy Villarreal, Jr. all of Mathis, Derrick Villarreal and wife Lisa and Damian Villarreal and wife Kaelynn all of Banquete, and Jonathan Villarreal of Midland.  He is also survived by his siblings, Norma Villarreal of Laredo, Belma Ochoa, Odelia Perez and husband Pepper, Gloria Martin and husband Mark, Sylvia Villarreal, Rick Villarreal and wife Teresa and Rudy Villarreal all of Franklin and Ubaldo Villarreal of Gatesville.  Eloy is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 1 great Grandchild and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services for Eloy Villarreal will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at 10:00 A.M. at the McCauley Funeral Home in Franklin, Texas.  A visitation will be held on Monday, November 4, 2024, from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at McCauley Funeral Home.  Burial will follow services on Tuesday at the Franklin Cemetery.
