Edsel Ford (E.F.) Laxson, 88 , of Franklin, Texas passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2011 at his residence. He was born on December 14, 1922 in Iuka, Mississippi to John Odie Laxson and Ethel Lake Laxson. He married Margaret Jane Brown Laxson on September 18, 1943 in Ft. Worth, Texas.
Mr. Laxson was a carpenter before his retirement. He had been a resident of Franklin for the past 45 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church
in New Baden, Texas.

He is survived by his wife – Jane Laxson of Franklin

Services will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the First Baptist Church in New Baden, Texas. Rev. Freddy Burden will officiate. Burial will follow in the New Baden Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 26, 2011 from 6-8 P.M. at McCauley Funeral Home in Franklin, Texas.
