Edna Irene Honea 86 of Franklin, Texas and the Camp Creek Community passed away Friday, November 30, 2012 at her residence in Camp Creek. She was born on July 16, 1926 in Limestone County to Tom and Mary E. Benton Lindsey. She was a Homemaker and graduated from Franklin High School. She married Roy Ellis Honea on January 2, 1943 in Franklin, Texas. She spent 16 years in the New Baden Camp Creek Communites previously living in Big Spring, Texas. She was of the Baptist faith attending First Baptist Church in New Baden, Texas.She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, Roy Ellis Honea.

1 Son & Daughter-in-law: Jonathan Dewitt & Marianne Honea of Weatherford, Texas
4-Grandchildren: Meagan Elizabeth Honea, Justin Michael Honea, Amanda Shea Honea, Leanna Nicole Brandt & Husband Vernon

Family Graveside Services were held on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at 10:00 AM in the Franklin City Cemetery with John Honea officiating. Burial was at the Franklin City Cemetery in Franklin, Texas.
