"Neither do people light a candle, and put it under a bushel, bon on a candlestick; and it giveth light to all that in the house." Matthew 5:15
Edgar "Ted" Horton was that pillar of light in this world. He served his county, his community, and his family all throughout his life with nothing but endless patience and love. To know Ted was to love him. He walked through life with an easy, beaming smile and infectious laugh. His devotion and kindness knew no bounds, be it as a husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, or friend to all who knew him and even those who didn't. A child at heart, with the wisdom of age. A man who loved to sneak a treat as sweet as he was and could laugh with a mischievous grin when he got caught and fussed at. Although this is goodbye for now, his legacy and light will continue to live on through all of those who were blessed with his stories, wisdom, and love. May he rest in eternal peace, until we meet again.
