Earnest Newton Winstead, 71 of Franklin, TX passed away July 27, 2018 at his residence in Ridge, TX. He was born to Fred & Fannie Mae Winstead on July 29, 1946 in Marquez, TX. He attended Leon High School. Earnest married Nancy Ann Currie on November 9, 1965 in Centerville, TX. He was a dairy farmer and worked for Liere Dairy for 25 years. He had been a lifelong resident of Robertson County. He was also a member of The Full Gospel Church. He was preceded in death by parents, sister; Martha Bartkouiak, brothers; Fred Winstead Jr, Sam Winstead, Albert Winstead, George Winstead, Robert Winstead, and Edward Winstead. Survived by: Wife of 52 years: Nancy Winstead of Franklin Daughter: JoAnne Lindan and husband Gary of Franklin Sons; Earnest Winstead Jr of Hearne Mark Winstead of Franklin Sisiters: Ester Lloyd of Fairfield Myrtle Green of Franklin 9 Grandchildren: William Horan, Emily Winstead, Trey Winstead, Zackery Vaughn, Mathew Vaughn, Erica Randle, Daniel Winstead, Rhetta Winstead, and Tyler Lindan. 1 Great Granddaughter: Cambrie Randle. Visitation will be Sunday July 29, 2018 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at McCauley Funeral Home. Services will be Monday July 30, 2018 at 10:00 am in McCauley Funeral Home Chapel.
