Dorothy Pearce George, 87, of Rockwall, Texas and formerly of Franklin passed away on Monday, November 18, 2013 in Rockwall. She was born on February 28, 1926 in Perry, Texas to Benjamin and Carolina Lessmann. Dorothy had been a resident of Rockwall the past 5 years previously living in Franklin for many years. She was a member of the New Baden Baptist Church in New Baden, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence George in 2001 and her daughter-in-law, Rose Marie Pearce. Dorothy is survived by: Son and Daughter-in-law – Kenneth & Jill Pearce of Rockwall

Angela Marie Victoria Waters and husband, David 4 Great Grandchildren – Nathan Pearce, Ashley Pearce, Caitlyn Waters and Kylie Waters Host of other relatives

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 11:30 A.M. at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Rev. Freddy Burden will officiate. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22, 2013 from 6-8 P.M. at McCauley Funeral home in Franklin, Texas.
