Dorothy Elizabeth Commander passed away on Sunday, January 20, 2019 in Franklin, Texas.  She was born on September 25, 1926 in Easterly, Texas to Eddie and Emma Brunette Corn.

She was a graduate of Franklin High School and married L.M. Commander.  She had been a resident of Cameron for the past 32 years.  She was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Margaret Commander and son, Morris Commander.

She is survived by:

Son and Daughter-in-law – Ray and Barbara Commander of Bremond

Numerous Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. at the New Baden Cemetery.  Ray Commander will officiate.  A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at McCauley Funeral Home
