Donna Kay Sanders was born to her parents, Donald and Maurine Self McLeroy on August 21, 1950 in Hearne, Texas.  She entered eternal life on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at her home at the age of 69.

Donna was a graduate of Hearne High School.  She worked various jobs through the years but her favorite by far was being a mother and grandmother.  Donna was a life resident of Robertson County.  She married Steve Sanders on August 4, 1988.  She was preceded in death by her husband on August 10, 2016.  She was also preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Maurine McLeroy.

Donna had a kind heart and a beautiful smile.  She loved her grandchildren and they were the light in her life.

She is survived by Daughter and Son-in-law, Julie and Matthew Danko of Kiln, Mississippi; Son and Daughter-in-law, Donald and Michelle McCarver of Franklin; Sister, Velda McLeroy of Houston; Brother and Sister-in-law, Maurice and Janice McLeroy of Cypress; 8 Grandchildren: Shane Illing, Jenna Danko, Josephine Danko, Sebastian Danko, Jillian Danko, Ty McCarver, Meagan McCarver and Ryan McCarver and 2 Great Grandchildren: Oliver Stone and William McCarver

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at the Henry Prairie Cemetery.  A visitation with family is scheduled for Friday, February 14, 2020 from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at McCauley Funeral Home in Franklin.
