Obituary

Deborah Jean Vajdak was born on June 8, 1954 in Abilene, Texas, to Charnel Clay McWhorter and Jewel Dean Weldon McWhorter.  She passed to eternal life on Friday, November 13, 2020 at the age of 66years.

Debbie, as she was known, was a graduate of Clyde High School. She married her husband, Billy Vajdak on May 1, 2004. Debbie was employed in administration before her retirement. She was a resident of Franklin for the past thirty two years and was an active member of the Robertson County Cowboy Church.  She always enjoyed going to the Church on Friday's to clean the with her favorite cleaning crews.

Debbie's most important role was being a wife, mother and grandmother.  She loved her family and her grandchildren were her pride and joy.  She had an infectious smile and laugh that will be remembered by all whose lives she touched.  She had a love for art, music, painting and fishing and her favorite holidays were Christmas and Easter. Her husband, Billy, remembers her always saying "Thank you Lord for letting me live to see another spring time." She loved her Lord and it showed through her genuine care for others.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charnel Clay and Jewel Dean McWhorter and her brother, George Clay McWhorter.

Debbie is survived by her husband of sixteen years, Billy Vajdak of Calvert; 4 Daughters and sons-in-law, Toni and Daniel Hinojosa of Austin; Teja and Adam Ruiz of College Station, Teri and Dustin Barham of Hearne and Katy and Justin Bohls of Georgetown; Son, Joseph Vajdak of Georgtown; sister and brother-in-law, Kathy and Monty Hambrick of Clyde; Grandchildren: Zachary Ruiz, Kaitlyn Ruiz, Kyle Ruiz, Olivia Ruiz, Trace Ortega, Tyli Ortega, Trigg Barham and Graham Bohls; numerous other relatives.

Services will be held on Monday, November 16, 2020 at 11:00 A.M.  at the Robertson County Cowboy Church with a visitation beginning at 9:00 A.M. Burial will be held on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. Ross Cemetery in Baird, Texas.
