Danny Layne Tarver went to his Heavenly home on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at the age of 72.  He was born in Franklin, Texas, on September 15, 1953, to parents, Alfred Leon and Opal Juanita Hickman Tarver.

Danny was a graduate of Franklin High School and married his loving wife, Bettye, on March 19, 1976, in Houston, Texas.  Danny was employed as a salesman.  He was a resident of the Houston area most of his life, until retiring and he and Bettye made Marlin their home for the past 4 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Juanita Tarver, sister, Darlene Buchanan and brother Doyle Tarver.

Danny leaves behind his loving family to cherish his memory, wife of 50 years, Bettye Tarver of Marlin; 2 sons, Eric Tarver and wife Elizabeth of Montgomery and John Bradley Tarver of Marlin; sister, Linda Karen Hamilton of Cypress; 3 grandchildren: Maddox, Sawyer, and Tyler.  Danny is also survived by multiple nieces, nephews and cousins.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. at the McCauley Funeral Home Chapel in Franklin, Texas. Following the service, the family will gather for lunch and fellowship at the New Baden Community Center in New Baden, Texas.
