Connie Marie Fickle was born on June 22, 1961 in Texas City, Texas to her parents, C.J. and Connie McBride Crisp.  She entered eternal life on Thursday, August 4, 2022 in College Station, Texas at the age of 61 years.

Connie was a graduate of Texas City High School.  She married her husband, Mike on September 7, 1999 in Bryan, Texas.  Connie was a homemaker and had been a resident of Pearland for the past 4 years previously living in Franklin.  She was  of the Christian faith.

Connie's family was the center point of her life.  She always just wanted to take care of her family and loved them dearly. She was always there for anyone of them that needed her help.  Connie enjoyed camping with her husband and daughter.  She loved to play hostess to parties and paid close attention to detail in organization with her themes.  She also loved to sing and dance. She was full of life.  There will be a huge void in the lives of the ones that Connie touched but she will always remain in their hearts forever.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents, C.J. and Connie Crisp; brothers, Clifford Crisp and Carl Crisp.

She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Michael Ray Fickle of Pearland; daughter, Layla Nevaeh Fickle of Pearland; sons and daughters-in-law, Robert Alvers, Jr. and Lauretta of Rosenberg; C.J. Alvers and Paula of Franklin; sisters and brothers-in-law, Shirley and John Olive of Zavalla and Tammy Sanders of Texas City; mother-in-law, Carolyn Lake of Pearland; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Allen and Yahel Fickle of San Angelo and Kenneth and Michelle Fickle of Lubbock; 12 Grandchildren: Robert Alvers, III, Alayna Alvers, Alex Alvers, Chloe Alvers, Braden Alvers and Julien Alvers.  She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at 3:00 P.M. at McCauley Funeral Home in Franklin, Texas.  Burial will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.  A visitation will be held on Friday, August 12, 2022 from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
