Charles Edward Dees, 70, of Franklin, passed away at his residence on Saturday, Oct. 29, 2011. He was born on Aug. 28, 1941 in San Marcos, Texas to Charlie G. and Bertie Fritsche Dees.

Dees received his education at San Marcos High School. He married Jennifer Sue Hopkins on Nov. 21, 1964 in Houston, Texas. Dees had been employed with Franklin ISD for the past six years. He was preceded in death by his parents and a child.

He is survived by wife Jennifer Sue Dees of Franklin, two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Mona Caro Dees of Spanaway, WA and Robert Todd and Tonya Mae Dees of Franklin; two sisters, Diane Pope of Kyle and Katherine Jiaglewood of Burleson; brother, Dennis Dees of San Marcos; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held on Sunday, Nov. 13 at the Franklin Worship Center at 3 p.m. Bro. Rodney Box will officiate.
