Carol Roberts Blancett, beloved daughter, mother, grandmother and sister entered eternal life on Sunday, June 21, 2026, surrounded by those she loved at the age of 76 years.  She was born on December 2, 1949, to parents, Don Roberts and Imogene Russell Roberts.

Carol was a 1967 graduate of Sam Houston High School in Houston.  She was employed with Prosperity Bank before her retirement.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Don and Imogene Roberts, husband, Jerry Blancett and her brother, James Roberts.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, sons, Shannon Henry and wife Rebecca of Montgomery and Kevin Henry and wife Tracy of College Station; daughter, Lori Tice and husband Daniel of College Station; brother, Larry Don Roberts of Georgia; 6 grandchildren: Joshua Henry and wife Cristin, Holly Cobb and husband Randall, Christina Jackson and husband Dustin, Brandon Henry, Jesslyn Longfellow and husband Don and Kaleena Sunday.  She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and a host of other children.

In addition to her extended family and her Faith she enjoyed quiet times with romance novels, the adventure of movies, the colors of butterflies, and the fragrant aroma of beautiful flowers.

Services will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. at McCauley Funeral Chapel in Franklin. A burial will follow in the New Baden Cemetery. Family will receive visitors from 9:30 A.M. until service time on Saturday at McCauley Funeral Home.
