Carlton Ray Johnson, 63 of Caldwell, Texas passed away on Monday, December 30, 2013 at Scott & White Hospital in College Station, TX. He was born on January 27, 1950 in Houston, TX to J.W. and Earlene Hamilton Johnson. He married Vivian Roberds in 1971 and they were married for 20 years. Carlton lived in the community for 22 years and was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his sister, Doris Lee and her husband Tommy of Caldwell, two brothers, Johnny Johnson and wife Rhonda of Deer Park and Calvin Johnson and wife Karen of Caldwell, nephews Jay Johnson and wife Becca, Stacy French and wife Amy, Warren Johnson, Wesley Johnson, and Tommy Lee Jr. and wife Misty, nieces, Stephanie Moore and husband Kirk, Melissa Johnson, Renae Young and husband Jeff and 16 great nephews and nieces. Graveside services will be held Thursday, January 2, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at West Boone Cemetery in the Franklin community. Jay Johnson will officiate.
