Carl Ray Hodges passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2018 in Hearne, Texas at the age of 84 years.  He was born on July 9, 1933 in Guion, Arkansas to Harry Herman and Beatrice Ola French Hodges.  Carl was employed with Vacuum Tanks, Inc. for 35 years before his retirement.  He was a resident of New Baden for the past 20 years and was a member of the First Baptist Church in New Baden.  He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Jackie Hodges; brothers, Edwin Hodges, Harold Hodges, Carold Hodges and Dennis Hodges; sister, Maryetta Arnette.
