Caleb Paul Lennie, age 38 of Franklin, Texas, passed away peacefully in his home on March 27, 2019. Cal, as he was known by most, was born on November 24, 1980 in Austin, Texas to Dale & Angela Lennie, of Bogata, Texas. He was a beloved grandson of Mrs. Lillian Lennie of Argo, Texas and Mr. & Mrs. James Burgin of Sugar Hill, Texas. He is survived by his friend and wife, LeAnn Lennie, his cherished step-son, Brent Markey (11 years) and his precious daughters; Laurel Lennie (6 years) and Lilah Lennie (4 years). He also leaves behind two brothers and sister-in-laws; Joshua & Adrian Lennie of Henderson, Texas and Isaac & Yuli of Longview, Texas. As well as many loving Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews and Friends.
Cal Lennie, playfully referred to as "Whataburger" to some, served in the U.S. Navy and dedicated himself to hard-work that lead to his career as a Power Plant Operator at Luminant. He prided himself on his work ethic and did his best to instill the same in his children. He was passionate about many things, but most notably; Whataburger, Nascar, music and his children.
A celebration of life service will be held graveside at 2:00pm on Tuesday, April 2 nd , 2019 at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, located at 4410 FM 2446, Franklin, Texas. Relatives and out-of-town guests are invited to join us prior to the funeral at 1:00pm for a welcome gathering. In lieu of flowers, a memorial account is being established at Robertson County Bank in Franklin, Texas to benefit his children.
