Bryan Donald Becktold, 82, of Franklin, Texas passed away on Sunday,
July 14, 2013 in Temple,Texas. He was born on September 13, 1930 in Robertson County, Texas to Donald Bryan Becktold and Oma Holler Becktold. He married Annie Saulsberry on June 1, 1963 in New Baden, Texas. Mr. Becktold was a self-employed barber before his retirement and was a life resident of Robertson County. He was a member of the New Baden Baptist Church and the Franklin V.F.W. Post #9873. He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Lonnie Ray White.

Wife – Annie Becktold of Franklin
Daughter and Son-in-law – Joyce and Daryl Severs of Jewett
Sister – Hazel Petersen of Bryan
Niece – Linda Merryman of Hearne
5 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren
Numerous other nieces and nephews

Services will be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at 2:30 P.M. at the McCauley Funeral Home Chapel in Franklin. Rev. Dwain Steinkuehler will officiate. Burial will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 7-8 P.M. at McCauley Funeral Home.
