Bruce Louis Mayer, 68, of Marquez, Texas passed away on Monday, December 24, 2012 at his residence. He was born on December 11, 1944 in Elmerhurst, Illinois to Mathew and Dorothy Kautz Mayer. He received his education in Parkridge, Illinois and married Rebecca Neel on December 4, 2004 in Marquez, Texas. He was a retired truck driver and had been a resident of Marquez for the past nine years previously living in Glenview, Illinois. He was of the Catholic faith and a member of the Teamsters Union.

Sister-in-law – Miriam Lois Mayer of Wabasso, Minnesota
1 Grandchild – Saddie Mayer of Illinois
Step-sons – Steven Hamilton, Arthur Chance, Jr. and Dale Miller
