Briscoe Rowell Cain, Sr., 79, of Franklin, Texas passed away on Sunday, February 13, 2011 in Bryan, Texas. He was born on December 22, 1931 in Calvert, Texas to Bicker Whitfield Cain, Sr. and Mildred Bush Cain. He was a graduate of Calvert High School and received is masters degree for Sam Houston State University. He took great pride in being employed with the Franklin I.S.D. for the last fifteen years as the nursey man. He had been a resident of Franklin for the past seven years previously living in Calvert. He was a member of the Pentecostals of Robertson County Church as well as the Masonic lodge. He also served as past mayor of Calvert. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Mildred Young and twin brother, Dr. Bicker Whitfield Cain, Jr.

Services will be held on Thursday, February 17, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the Sunnyside Cemetery in Calvert, Texas. Bro. Whitmire of the Pentecostals of Robertson County Church will officiate. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 16, 2011 from 5-7 pm at McCauley Funeral Home in
