Boyd Lee Grigsby was born on March 28, 1937 in Darnell, Arkansas to Willis and Bertha Underwood Grigsby. He entered eternal life on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at his residence in Robertson County, Texas at the age of 83 years.

Boyd was employed as a truck driver for over 30 years before his retirement. He married Nadine Williams on February 23, 1973 in Liberty, Texas. He was of the Baptist faith and a resident of Robertson County for the past 21 years, previously living in Crosby, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Wilburn Grigsby; step-son, Gerald Cooper; step-daughter, Renda Pate; grandson, Christopher Cooper and granddaughter, Tiffany Dawson.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Nadine Grigsby; daughters, Shanna Stryjek, Donna Kyzar and husband Wade, Cheryl Sanders and Tammy Greenough; sons, Donald Grigsby, David Grigsby and wife Rita and Harvey Purser; sister, Betty Monasco; brothers, Charles Grigsby and Lloyd Grigsby; Terisha Sanders and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Gwenda Hughes

A family visitation and service will be held at McCauley Funeral Home on Monday, February 22, 2021. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
