Billy Ray Paskey went to his Heavenly home on November 30, 2024, at the age of 88 years.  He was born on July 10, 1936, to parents, Mitchell and Lillie Mae Thomas Paskey in the Bald Prairie Community of Robertson County, Texas.

Billy Ray attended school in Franklin.  He married his wife Della Ruth Calhoun on November 28, 1957.  They were married for almost 63 years before her death in 2020.  Billy Ray was a self-employed carpenter and built many homes in Robertson County before his retirement.  He was also a cattle rancher and enjoyed working with his cows when he wasn't building things.  He was a life-long resident of the Bald Prairie Community and was of the Christian faith.

Billy Ray always strived and worked hard for his family that he dearly loved.  He was an avid outdoorsman and coon hunter and enjoyed spending time with his family.

Billy Ray is preceded in death by his parents, Mitchell and Lillie Mae Paskey and his wife, Della Ruth Paskey.

He leaves his children behind to cherish his memory, daughter, Jana Meadors of Bald Prairie, son, Jerry Paskey of Franklin, his grandchildren, Chad and Tabitha Meadors of Bald Prairie, Leigh Mata of Frankin and Anthony Paskey of Franklin and his beloved great grandchildren: Micaleigh Sanders, Brittan Sanders, Seth Sanders, Morgan Meadors and Abigail Meadors.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at 10:00 A.M. at the Bald Prairie Cemetery in Robertson County, Texas.  Jimmy Sanders will officiate.
