Billy Wayne Medart, 80 of Franklin, Texas passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at his residence. He was born on March 26, 1933 in Coryell County to Frank and Almeda Medart. He was a graduate of Midland High School and Texas Western University. He married Patsy Ann Pyle on December 29, 1951. Mr. Medart was employed with Shell Oil Company for 30 years as a computer programmer and retired in 1986. He was of the Methodist faith. Mr. Medart was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Valeta Nichols and Juanita Ozee.

Daughter – Pamela Bauer and husband, Max of Houston
Son – Mitchell W. Medart and wife, Karin of Lakewood, CO
Sisters – Frankie Williams of Tucson, AZ, Vonnie Wells of Hamilton, Ohio and Patsy Fitzgerald of Athens, TN
Brother – Don Medart of Tuscon, AZ

8 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at the McCauley Funeral Home Chapel in Franklin. Hospice Chaplain Gary Rowe will officiate.
