Billy Steele Johnson, Sr. 84, of the Willow Creek Community of Robertson County passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2014 in Sugarland, Texas. He was born on September 13, 1930 in the Bald Prairie Community of Robertson County to Perry S. Johnson and Lillie Mae Shockley Johnson. He was a graduate of Franklin High School. He married Mary Ann Plagens on April 13, 1951 in Houston, Texas. Mr. Johnson was employed for 36 years with Southwestern Bell Telephone Company before retirement and was a life-long resident of Robertson County. Mr. Johnson was a member of the Franklin United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and brother; Wylie T. Johnson.

Services will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at the McCauley Funeral Home Chapel in Franklin. Sr. Pastor Polly D. Standing will officiate. Burial will follow in the Bald Prairie Cemetery in Robertson County.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 21, 2014 from 6-8 P.M. in Franklin
