Billy Alan Bush passed from this life to eternal life surrounded by his loved ones on Friday, September 19, 2025, at the age of 66 years.  He was born on March 4, 1959, to his parents, Billy F. Bush and Wanda Janet Box Bush in Hearne, Texas.

Billy was a 1978 graduate of Franklin High School and attended Sam Houston State University. He was employed with Baker Hughes as a directional driller until his retirement in 2017. Until recently, he owned and operated the Dry Bean Saloon in Bremond, where he enjoyed spending time with people he considered family.  He married his wife, of 26 years, Teresa, on November 13,1999. He was a lifelong resident of Franklin and was a member of the First Baptist Church, Franklin, Texas.

Billy is preceded in death by his Parents, Billy F. "Booty" Bush and Wanda Janet Bush, his brother, Joe Bush and his sister, Kathy Bush.

Billy leaves behind to cherish his memory, wife, Teresa Bush of Franklin; daughter and son-in-law, Jamie and Robert Gober of Franklin; son and daughter-in-law, Shawn and Michele Garrett of Bryan; 6 grandchildren: Hagen Gober, Tucker Gober, Tanner Reagan, Alexandra Wright, Kadence Garrett and Kaylee Garrett; sister-in-law, Nikki Bush of Franklin and a host of nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at the Bush Family Cemetery. Mike Rinehart and Mike Reeves will officiate.  A visitation will take place from 10:30 - 11:00 A.M. at the Cemetery.
