Betty Sue Morgan, 73, of Franklin, Texas passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2017.  She was born on November 20, 1943 in Navasota, Texas.  She received her education in Navasota and married Jerry Dale Morgan on April 22, 1967 in Navasota, Texas.  She was a homemaker and had been a resident of Franklin for the past 40 years.  She was of the Baptist faith.  Betty loved and raised 4 children.  She was a wonderful mother and grandmother.  She loved Galveston and shopping at Murdocks and she also loved going to the mountains.

Betty was preceded by her parents, George and Stella Wingard; brothers, Don Wingard and George Wingard, Jr. and wife Faye.

She is survived by:

Husband of 50 years – Jerry Morgan of Franklin

Daughters – Sherry Smith, K.K. Morgan and Debra Williamson all of Franklin

Son and Daughter-in-law – J.J. and Sarah Morgan of Franklin

Granddaughters – Jaysa Evans and husband J.G., Samantha Smith, LeAnna Morgan, Grace Willamson, Paizlee Parker and Hope Johnson

Grandsons – Colter Smith, Tyler Williamson Morgan Patranella, Seth Morgan and Joe Riley

Great Grandchildren – Hayden Williamson, Conlee Evans and Joe D. Riley, Jr.

Services will be held on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at 2:30 P.M. at the Henry Prairie Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in the Henry Prairie Cemetery.  A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 at McCauley Funeral Home.
