Betty Joyce Collie Bardell passed away on December 30th, 2016 at the age of 86. She was born August 7, 1930 in Waco, Texas where she spent her early life. She moved to Bryan, Texas where she spent most of her life after marrying North Bardell and was a member of First Baptist Church of Bryan. She later moved to Cedar Park, Texas.

She enjoyed spending time at Camp Creek where she would enjoy water skiing and boat rides. She also enjoyed Texas Aggie football and basketball and the Texas Aggie Band.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband North Bruce Bardell, Jr., and her parents, Thomas Audie Collie and Lena Moore Collie, both of Waco, Texas.

Survivors include: her son David Brian Bardell and his wife Bonnie Williams Bardell of Oklahoma City, Ok, her daughter Tonna Bardell Howell and her husband Lewis Barry . 4 grandchildren, Heather Bardell Vega and her husband, April Bardell Waldrop and her husband, Scott Matthew Howell and his wife, and Rebecca Michelle Howell and 5 great grandchildren.

Graveside services are scheduled for 1:00 P.M. Monday, January 2, 2017 at the New Baden Cemetery.
