Bennie D. Wester was born on March 21, 1935 in Myra, Texas to George O. and Minnie M. Fails Wester. He passed away on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 in Bryan, Texas at the age of 82 years. Ben married Betty Sue Perkins Raley on May 29, 1983. Ben was a 1953 graduate of Iowa Park High School and attended Abilene Christian, Midwestern State and Dale Carnegie. He retired from the physical plant at Texas A&M University where he was employed for 30 years. Prior to his employment with Texas A&M, he worked in construction. He was a resident of Franklin for the past 25 years and previously resided in College Station. He was a life-long member of the Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Betty Jane Wester.

Wife – Betty Sue Wester of Franklin

Brothers – Glen Wester and wife Theresa of Deer Park and Sam Wester of Haskell

Step Daughters – Gail Adams and husband Mitch of Houston and
Ginger Magoon of College Station

Step Son – Greg Raley and wife Pam of Houston

8 Grandchildren: Monica Magoon, Clayton Magoon, Victoria Stuart, Jason Adams, Daniel Adams, Megan Raley, James Raley and Christa Raley.

Numerous Nieces & Nephews

Services will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at 11:30 A.M. at the Franklin Church of Christ. Blan Chrane will officiate. Burial will follow in the Holly Cemetery in Ridge. A visitation will be held on Friday, July 21, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at McCauley Funeral Home in Franklin.
