Obituary

Belinda Ainsworth, 68, of Bryan, Texas, passed away on August 31, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Belinda was born on July 2, 1957, in Fairbanks, Alaska, to Gerald and Lona Ainsworth. She grew up in Franklin and was a 1974 graduate of Franklin High School. Belinda was employed with KORA Radio in Bryan and WCPR Radio in Biloxi, Mississippi, for many years before her retirement in 2012. She had been a resident of Bryan for the past 25 years. She was a member of Brazos Fellowship.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Amanda Lawrence, her mother, Lona Ainsworth, and brother, Johnny Ainsworth.

Left to cherish her memory, her son, Roger Lawrence and wife Settima of College Station, her father, Gerald Ainsworth of New Baden, sisters: Karen Gossett of Madisonville, Patricia Stricklin, and brothers: Jerry Ainsworth of Caldwell and Danny Ainsworth of Franklin. She is also survived by grandchildren: Summer Bosarge, Brent Bosarge, Brandon Bosarge and Amelia Lawrence, her great grandchildren: Kinley Nuckols, Atreus Reed, Skyler Long, Emma Lee Bosarge and Luna Bosarge, and aunts, Charlene Brunette and Betty Cazey.

Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, September 5, 2025, at the McCauley Funeral Home chapel in Franklin, Texas. A visitation will be held prior to service from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow at Camp Creek Cemetery.
